Fossils are the imprints, bones, traces of once-living organisms, and even the weather. If an organism dies and is buried by sediment, then it can become preserved in various ways. Eventually, the fossils becomes a part of a sedimentary rock. Fossils help the scientist discover the species from the past. Like the scientist, Alfred Wegener also collected these fossils to get his evidence and proof in the 1900s. Alfred Wegener also wanted to discover more about these animals, fossils, and the strange weather from when Pangaea lived and existed.
